Acceptance of these terms
By using Social Mockups, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
These terms apply to the website, generators, previews, downloaded images, and related pages available through socialmockups.app.
What the service does
Social Mockups provides browser-based tools for creating fictional social media screenshots, message examples, post previews, and comment mockups. The tools do not post to Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X/Twitter, SMS, iMessage, Android Messages, or any other social or messaging service.
The site is independent and is not affiliated with Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X Corp., Apple, Google, or other platforms referenced by the mockup formats.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you type, upload, generate, download, copy, or share. You must have the rights or permission needed for any images, names, logos, text, or other materials you use.
You are also responsible for adding context when a mockup could be mistaken for a real post, message, or comment. Do not present fictional screenshots as proof of real events.
Prohibited uses
No impersonation or fraud
Do not use the tools to impersonate another person, company, public figure, platform, or authority in a misleading way.
No fabricated evidence
Do not use generated screenshots as fake proof in disputes, legal matters, employment issues, school matters, or public accusations.
No harassment or abuse
Do not create content meant to harass, threaten, defame, exploit, or target someone.
No unlawful content
Do not use the service in a way that violates applicable law or someone else's rights.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as a practical web tool and may change over time. Features, templates, layouts, download options, and page content may be updated, removed, or replaced.
We aim to keep the tools useful and reliable, but we cannot promise that the service will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. If a change is important, the updated page should show a new last-updated date.
Continuing to use the site after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
